The Premonstratensian Monastery
It is the oldest monastery of Bohemian south. "Our Lady" triple-naved Romanesque basilica comes from the end of the 12th century. Three wings of the convent together with basilica surround the square Courtyard of Paradise. The monastery buildings are supposed to be finished during the first quarter of the 13th century. The Romanesque heart is preserved till the present days. The regional museum is situated in the western part of convent rebuilt in Baroque style. Next to the church corner there is an "abbot chapel" from the second half of the 13th century. There are other architectural monuments in the monastery area.

St Gilles Church
The existence of this tribunitial church was documented in written in 1184. The bulky belfry and the northern wall with the staircase (as thick as the wall) come from the original Romanesque church. The church was rebuilt in 14th century. Its sacristy and presbytery was vaulted by ribbed vaulting (so called Milevsko type), paintings on the vault are from 16th century. St. Gilles church serves as a funeral hall today.

St. Bartholomew Church
Pseudo-Romasque church is the domonant feature of the square. It was built in 1866 on the site of an old chapel from the break of the 15th and 16th centuries.

Old Townhall No. 1
Baroque Townhall comes from the 17th century. There are Public library, Information centre, Gallery and Investment bank situated in the building. There is a Renaissance former brewery next to this building.

Old Rectory No. 3
Baroque building from year 1715 today proprietis Milevsko deanery to year 1937, today is passed on originale form.

Synagogue
Building was finished in 1919. It is the unique connection of Empire and Cubism. It is the Czechoslovakian Church Chapel at present. (The Jewisch cemetery with the tombstones from 18th century is situated about 1 kilometre far from the town).

New Townhall No. 420
New-Renaissance building was built between 1901-1902. The graffito decoration of facade comes from 1936 by O. Pejsa from Milevsko. It is the seat of the municipal authorities today.

Savings Bank No. 6
Building was built by F. J. Kes from Tabor in 1909 and it is one of the Benes square dominant.

Commercial Bank No. 56
Secession building from 1907 with the original facade thanks to the reconstruction from 1993.
